Check Out This Stylish Teen!

Hannah Ehman is a true genius when it comes to fashion, and a believer that style is an important aspect of life. I am incredibly impressed with her creative mix of vintage and new, as well as her anything goes attitude.

Has the Recession Changed Your Lifestyle?

Saturday July 11, 2009

It's really none of my business, but I was just curious. I'm definitely spending less than I used to on clothes and hanging out, so when I saw this $14.50 "Staying in is the New Going Out" tee from Old Navy, I had to laugh.

Great New Brand: Ottilie and Lulu

Wednesday July 8, 2009

It took a while, but finally someone figured out there was a need for real tween beauty products - not those sparkly, glittery things we've become accustomed to seeing. Ottilie and Lulu is a new range of skin, hair, and body care products formulated especially for girls between the ages of 7 and 14. Why the need, you might ask? Well, the company puts it this way: "Tween girls have delicate skin and face their own challenges. Girls really don't need glitter, perfume, and strident colors to feel good about themselves. They need safe products made just for them to help them feel good, look good, and build self-confidence."

I'm especially thrilled with the fact that the company has an $18 Everyday Facial Moisturizer & Sunscreen with an SPF of 20. Take it from me, if you take good care of your skin NOW, you'll be so much happier when you're older!

RIP MJ

Monday July 6, 2009

With the shocking and untimely death of Michael Jackson comes a wave of MJ-themed clothing items to pay tribute to the idol.

My fave is this $75 P.Y.T. tee from Lyric Culture - complete with Swarovski crystal-studded glove.

Is Your Phone a Fashion Item?

Friday July 3, 2009

I'm on the hunt for a new phone (my BBerry has officially bitten the dust, and I can't play Brick Breaker anymore because the track ball is out of whack), so I'm trying to figure out what kind to get. As silly as it sounds, it seams like the kind of phone you choose is almost as important as your clothing in determining your style these days, so I'm not taking the decision lightly.

I'm torn between getting something practical like another BlackBerry Curve, or something cute like the LG Neon (pictured). What do you think I should get? A life? ;)
