Teen Vogue and CFDA Team Up to Create Fashion Scholarship
Wednesday April 18, 2007
Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Amy Astley and the Council of Fashion Designers of America have joined forces to create 'The CFDA/Teen Vogue Fashion Fund', an annual program dedicated to helping foster the design education of promising students seeking Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees at one of 16 participating 4-year colleges, universities, and design schools in the United States.
The program not only offers financial awards to assist with tuition at participating design schools, it also offers professional mentoring in the areas of fashion business. The call for submissions will be announced in the May issue of Teen Vogue, on newsstands now.
