OK, I know that I was trying to keep my fashion week postings limited to one per day, but this was so good that I couldn't resist! I caught Matthew Williamson's star-studded show on Tuesday afternoon, where the front row consisted of such heavy hitters as Rihanna (my fave!), Joy Bryant, socialite-turned-model Lydia Hearst and Brittany Murphy. I had the chance to speak with Rihanna and her stylist Lisa Cooper before the presentation commenced, and they gave me the dish on why they were at Fashion Week: To shop for Grammy dresses!
When I asked Rihanna if she had her eye on a particular dress for the awards show she replied "Hellz Yeah!," and her wonderful stylist Lisa even gave me a clue as to which one it was. She told me: "I'm pushing for the finale dress from the Mara Hoffman show. It is very Egyptian-inspired." We'll just have to wait and see if that's what Ri Ri actually ends up wearing...
