In case you missed it, Nickelodeon's 2008 Kids' Choice Awards ceremony was last night, and Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus glittered on the red carpet in a $6,995 Stella McCartney minidress studded with rhinestones.
Although she looks amazing in her frock, I have to say that I think seven thousand bucks is too much for a 15-year-old's party dress, regardless of if she's a superstar or not. I much prefer her adorable casual look, so be sure to read my article on how to snag Miley's weekend look for a steal!

Being short isn’t fun. when you look for prom dresses, they are always too long.
What about if you’re younger, skinny and tall? It is a pain to have all the shirts be too short and the armholes hanging open. I need teen sizes for young girls who are too tall for little girl sizes but not ready to” let it all hang out”! We love Abercrombie but it’s too expensive.
I’m 13 and am very small. I have to shop in the little kids section and i never have as nice of clothes as my friends. i also live in a small town in canada, so theres not many stores.
sometimes it’s not just about the hem line. for tall women, their torso’s are much longer and the arms are much longer, for women under 6 feet, we are constantly tugging and rolling things up to make us more comfortable. fashion was not designed for petite and/or curvy women.
but i can also see how frustrating it can be to try and find pants and tops made long enough for women 6 feet and taller.
unless you have the perfect body, clothes don’t seem to fit everyone.
