I don't know if there's something in the water over in High School Musical land, but I've spotted co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens both sporting the same odd trend: Strapping their sandals on the OUTSIDE of their pants.
I remember Sienna Miller trying this look with little success a couple of years ago, but since then no one has really been brave enough to give it a go. And I can see why; personally, I think it's a bit of a scary look. How about you?

I agree 100%. It’s an ugly look, even on pretty young women. I would not bother with this trend myself.
Gotta agree with the other girls on this one.
Before you know it, these are going to get worn with the wrong kind of pants and someone is going to end up at the mall with a pair of strappy sandals seatbelting a pair of boot-cut jeans. Not pretty. We should leave this look to the pro’s.
Personally, I hate this look. To me, it looks like they are trying to keep their ankles warm or something. It just looks tacky.
I agree it looks tacky, but the key to this style would be to were skinny jeans, and only choose sandles that are the string tie version, going up the legs, some can were it with style some can not.
if the stars do it, it must be in fashion.

Yeah…it does look bad. But if you wore skinny jeans and the right kind of sandals, some girls might actually pull it off. It’s like huge sunnies, you have to have the right face, or in this case, leg, to pull it off.
