The Best Look of the Year: Demi Lovato

From Stephanie Prommer, About.com GuideDecember 30, 2008

Follow me on:

2008 was clearly the year of the Herve Leger bandage dress, so I think it's only fitting that the best outfit of 2008 goes to someone in Leger.

Although there were many contenders, I feel that the gradient mini that Demi Lovato wore to the 2008 MTV Music Awards on September 7th really takes the cake. Not only did it look absolutely gorgeous on the starlet, but it was also a bit of a fashion risk for Demi, who usually chooses to dress a little more on the safe side. Bellissima!

I do not agree that this is the best look of 2008. Yes, this is a pretty amazing look, and i do agree that Demi definetley did sport the best look. However, this isn’t the look. She had many more impressive ones than this. I also do not agree that she usually stayed on the safe side with fashion, she is a huge fashion icon who has started hundreds of trends. I wouldnt exactly call that staying on the safe side.
