Why Don't You Host a Clothing Swap Party?

Saturday February 28, 2009

I'm moving soon, so in order to make the transition a little easier I've been begrudgingly going through all of my clothing and making piles of items to give away. While some of my nicer things may find their way onto eBay, I also am planning on hosting a swap party with my friends in the near future.

If you're not familiar, a swap party is basically a get-together where a bunch of friends bring clothing and accessories that they don't wear anymore and then bargain and trade items with their pals. It's a great way to get rid of things you don't want, and also a free way to get a fresh wardrobe update.

If you don't feel like having a party, you can also check out SwapStyle.com, which is an online way to trade fashion items with people all over the world!
