I'm all about being comfortable in your own skin, so I have to applaud Twilight actress Kristen Stewart for sporting some worn-in Converse Chuck Taylors with her schmancy Yigal Azrouel dress at the MTV Movie Awards.
That being said, I'm not sure that this was the best footwear choice in the world. What do you think - do you like her sneaker and dress combo?

I thought it looked awesome. It looked different, was obviously her style and subtley referenced Bella’s look for prom in Twilight, she wore low black converse.
I think she looks awesome in this. I love how she is wearing converse. I dont know if its amazing for me because im kind of edgy as i have heard. I wear a dress with high tops or heals. does it matter? it looks good either way
Hate it. She should be able to step in and out of her Twilight character if she wants to be successful. I mean look at the Napoleon Dynamite guy. Great as that character, but where is he now? I must say, I do always admire a good heel. Chuck taylors at the MTV Movie Awards? Not so much.
I think that she totaly rocked it. I mean it is one thing to wear converse with a dress but it takes a lot to make them look good. I love her rocker kind of look.

It’s so Kristen Stewart; that’s what makes it so lovable. If it were somebody else it would look like she’s trying to make some kind of statement, but she isn’t, it’s just her usual style (sprained ankle or not).

Of course love it!!!It is unique and awesome!but she didn’t wore converse because she wanted to be like Bella.she had a problem with her leg.anyway,I think her style is awesome and she should keep this style!WE LOVE YOU KRISTEN!!!!!
I kinda hate it. To me it looks slopy like she didn’t care. Her personality is one that can make her seem kinda frumpy if you get what I mean so she needs to put more effort into what shes wares so that… idk she can seem friendlier.
i love the converse…selena gomez does the same thing all the time so HOORAY for Kristin…love those shoes!
i personally think the dress looks like some cheap hottopic wanna-be goth dress. and the converse complete the look along with the “i’m high and don’t care” eyes. she also needs to learn the importance of a hair stylist. seriously. that is all. thanks.

I think that she is trying to hard to be different. Wearing sneakers with dresses has become a cliche. I think a nice black patent ankle boot would have looked much more chic.
I think it looks great- different yet still glamourous and the reason why is because she can pull it off. If she couldn’t, this would have been not such a good look! Just like she might not be able to pull off another actresses look, this might have been a disaster for someone else!

I love it! Cause I wear converse with dresses and get ripped by my mates, so it’s good to see a “star” as it were, do the same thing and look gorgeous. It’s all about being happy with what you’re wearing, and Kristen looks beaut. Xxx

really loved it, she’s said that she is kind of obsessed with sneakers once, and only kstew can pull of this look out of all the actresses, she really did look stunning! ug and give up the ‘high’ thing already, people say i look high and bored all the time too, and im not high and bored!

Hate it! Love the actress but she needs some help with both her style (if she wants to go anywhere) and she needs to spend some time on her posture and poise. While different can help you stand out it can also put you on the outside of being taken seriously and hooking you up for different roles. She needs to find a sophisticated look as well as her retro look and know when to use them.
It was a necessity. She had a sprained ankle, so flat shoes were the only option, why not rock it out with Converse? I think she did a great job, there really is no celebrity out there quite like her. She’s unique and that is so admirable these days when everyone is beginning to conform into these idealistic barbies. So thumbs up on my part.
I love this look so much!! I mean, I wear converses with dresses like that all the time, so it’s kind of obvious that I like this…but it looks very good on Kristen and it’s definitely her style. So it’s perfect I think!
