If one of your dreams is to become a fashion writer or editor, you have plenty of time to prepare. One of the things I would recommend doing is reading up on what it takes to do the job, and here are two sites that I love (and still use practically every week): MediaBistro.com and Ed2010.com.
These sites are great resources for learning about what different jobs entail, as well as message boards for talking to other journalists-in-training.
