I was walking through Toys 'R Us with my mom looking for holiday gifts for the extended fam the other day and I became totally transfixed by a gadget called the Barbie Doll'd Up Nails. What is it, you ask? Well...it's a digital printer where you can upload photos, resize them to fit your fingernails, and then the machine prints the pics RIGHT ON to your nails! Isn't that wicked?
I put it right into the cart without looking at the price, and then I shed a tear (not really, ok...maybe one little one) when I found out that it was $199.99! I will be saving my pennies for a while to afford that one - and it's pretty much sold out everywhere right now anyway.
But I'm definitely seeing a trend of artistic one-of-a-kind nails going on, and another way I could try and get them is with this Nail Airbrush Kit (pictured, far right) from Urban Outfitters, now on sale for a still-pricey $139.99. Why does it cost so much to have kickin' nails?
