I love me some Project Runway, so I was excited to hear that season 5's Korto Momolu (who ended up as fan favorite and finished in second behind Leann Marshall) has her own line of accessories at Dillard's.
But...after seeing the first few pieces, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Korto had such a unique point of view on the show, so it was surprising to me to see that one of the first purses she debuted, the purple Horn-Handled Hobo Bag (pictured, near right), is a knock-off of the YSL mombasa (pictured, far right). And although it doesn't retail over a thousand bucks like the YSL version, Korto's version still isn't cheap at $159. Maybe I'm being overly critical, but I'm thinking she could have been more original.
