Spring break is coming up for you too, guys - and that means finding the perfect pair of swim trunks or board shorts. If you want to be the envy of all your friends, consider designing your own one-of-a-kind trunks.
I found two different sites that are doing the design-your-own swimwear idea well: The first is Oakley.com, where you can choose among several colors and patterns to create a pair of $75 Rework Board Shorts like the ones I made (pictured, above left).
If you want to go all-out with the customization, you can check out Shortomatic.com, where for about $99 you can upload photos or even hand-drawn doodles to display on your shorts (pictured, above right). While that's definitely not cheap, it's not too bad for a one-off, I'd say.
