Remember back when I told you about Molly Sims' jewelry collection Grayce, and how it was launching online? Well, Molly was gracious enough to invite a few bloggers to come and meet her at the Bryant Park Hotel in NYC to take an up-close look at the baubles.
First off, let me just say that Molly is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth celebs I have met...and I have interviewed a few (not bragging - just saying). She chatted about her collection and why it is so important for her to try and make pieces that last for years, instead of throw-away jewelry - and that's why the price point is a bit higher (from $75-250).
Sims also explained that her favorite piece in the collection right now is the Crystal Point Layered Necklace (pictured in her hands, above, and again below), because she designed it to be similar to something of her mom's.
And just a little fun gossip for you: The glamorous pics of Molly on her website (like the one below) were actually taken by her ex-boyfriend, actor Aaron Eckhart (of "The Dark Night" fame)...after they broke up! Molly explained the collaboration this way: "He shoots me so well. He originally said no, but he loves fashion and we begged him to do it." Cute, right?
