What's Up With Gap?

I was killing time and doing a little window shopping the other day when I stepped inside my local Gap -- where I was immediately hit with a visual barrage of tiny florals and hippie-chic frocks.

I usually come to Gap for affordable, on-trend basics, but items such as the tent-like $89.50 Floral Maxi Dress, $89.50 Cropped Straight Patch Jeans and $15 Reversible Market Tote (all pictured below) were too much for me to take.

I'm not really trying to hate, but I feel like this is 60's-era overboard. What do you think?
