If you're in the market for a new fashion piece, check out a comparison shopping site like Shopstyle.com before you make your purchase. On websites like this you can search thousands of e-stores at once to find your object of desire at the best price possible.

For example, there's an Alexis Bittar arrow necklace (pictured, below) that I'm currently lusting over. On the Alexis Bittar website, the bauble is currently marked down to $131.25.

However, if I look up the piece on ShopStyle.com, I can see that the necklace is currently full price ($175) on the Saks Fifth Avenue site...

But on Nordstrom.com, it's on sale for $86.90.

That's quite a big difference! You can save a pretty penny this way.

Also, before you buy ANYTHING online, it's a good idea to do a web search on a site like RetailMeNot.com for coupon codes that pertain to whatever website you're buying from. Even if you only find a coupon for free shipping, it still adds up - and a lot of times you can save another 10-20%!
