Last night I hit up a launch party for Alice + Olivia's limited-edition collection for MAC Cosmetics at Beauty Bar in NYC. Definitely scenester material, the fete was attended by the Misshapes, a truckload of models, Vanity Fair's Amy Fine Collins and the obligatory Real Housewife of New York - this time, Kelly Bensimon.
Alice + Olivia's designer Stacey Bendet was also in the house, and she was decked in a red sequined minidress with a gigantic fur shrug (pictured, below). She's teeny weeny in person, but that didn't stop her from joyfully toting around her adorable daughter Eloise throughout the evening.
About the makeup: The A + O makeup consists of 3 products: Pigment ($19.50), Dazzleglass Creme ($18) and Nail Lacquer ($12). There are three shades of each, for a total of 9 products (yes, I too can do easy multiplication), and they have fun names like "I.Want.Candy" and "Partylicious."
I just checked and a couple of the items are already sold out online, so if you want one - you'd better act fast.
