Is Patchwork Played Out?

I was checking out the new arrivals at Buckle.com and noticed that color-blocked patches are a big trend.

For example, there's a $39.95 System Lizard Shoe and a $49.95 BKE Studded Purse in the new arrivals section.

It may be hot, but I'm not sure that I actually like this look. What are your thoughts?
