Yesterday there was a really cool event called the Style 'N Smile fashion show held by the American Association of Orthodontists. The show was not only to show this season's hottest back to school clothes but to remind kids and their parents to take good care of their teeth. The runway presentation was hosted by 90210's Jennie Garth and it featured clothes selected by Twilight's stylist Melis Kuris!
I got the chance to ask Melis some questions and she told me about styling the cast of Twilight and how she got started in the industry. Be sure to check out my full interview with Melis Kuris.
I also asked Melis about why she got involved with the event. She said: "I had braces when I was growing up. When I got my braces off, I learned to smile. Smiling was always something I was very conscious of, and having that perfect smile is something that builds such great self esteem and confidence. When they asked me to be part of the show, I was so excited! I remember how important that part of my life was and how much of it changed me as a person."
