New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is officially under way, and last night former Heatherette designer Richie Rich made a splash at The Studio at Lincoln Center with a mix of tulle, glitter and ballerinas.
Richie is known for his interesting choice of models (which have included Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson in the past), but he ended his show this time with a real heavy hitter: Ellen DeGeneres!
Ellen is pals with celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippman (who created the nail looks for Richie's show), so I'm guessing that's how that lovely pairing became reality.
But whatever the reason behind it - the result was pure, unadulterated fun. Bravo, Richie and Ellen!
