I'm in London right now, and of course I'm checking out some of the shops to see what England has that I can't find in the States. With the Internet and the globalization of fashion it's getting harder and harder to find a special piece or under-the-radar designer, but it's still fun to try.
One store that I really loved was Liberty, which is famous for its scarves and floral prints (remember their collaboration with Target a few months ago?). Right now they have a special boutique of Manolo Blahnik shoes and accessories in their store, and although many of the items are ultra-expensive, there are a couple of affordable pieces in the mix.
My favorites are the Illustrated Shoe Canvas Tote (pictured below left) and the special edition Bouton de Rose Manolo Blahnik Candle (right) by Miller Harris.
I picked up one of the canvas totes myself for 25 quid to carry to work! : )
