Just about every day a new designer or celebrity begins a clothing collaboration with a mass market retailer, but these two are worth talking about.
First, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced that they are going to each have namesake lines for Kohl's - a women's collection for JLo and a line for dudes from Marc. The brands will each begin with clothing and accessories with plans to expand to shoes and items for the home in the future.
Next, a yet-to-be confirmed line designed by Karl Lagerfeld (of Chanel and Fendi fame) is rumored to be in the works for Macy's!
Both collabs are expected to hit stores in the fall of 2011, so stay tuned.
