If you want to know what's cool, just check out whatever designer Rebecca Minkoff is doing. Originally a must-have handbag creator, Minkoff has expanded to include ready-to-wear women's clothing and a covetable collection of footwear. Rebecca Minkoff's fall 2011 runway show was on Friday, and it was a veritable who's who of celebrities and tastemakers including Gossip Girl's Jessica Szhor (pictured above with Minkoff), rapper Eve, Michelle Trachtenberg and model Agyness Deyn.
In another twist of hipness, Sean Lennon (above) and model Charlotte Kemp Muhl performed during the show. The duo is named Ghost of A Saber Tooth Tiger, and reportedly they agreed to play when they found out that Muhl was Minkoff's inspiration for the collection.
As for the actual clothes and accessories, they were what I have come to expect from Rebecca Minkoff: Wearable, streamlined pieces that any chic girl would love to have in constant rotation in her closet.
