As we all know, prom can be a very important time for a teen girl, and finding the perfect dress is no small task. Many girls aren't able to afford the dress of their dreams though - and that's where the website DonateMyDress.Org comes in.
This site is a place where you can find (or create) a local dress drive in your area to donate a prom gown to a deserving person. A lot of celebs have gotten in on the action, including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Brittany Snow, and this year Twilight star Ashley Greene will return for the third time in a row as the charity's official celebrity spokesperson. "In high school, I had to work several jobs to save enough to buy a prom dress," said Greene, adding: "It was so worth it: I had a blast at prom! Every girl should have the chance to have that experience!"
This year, Ashley is donating a white Lela Rose dress that she wore on the red carpet at a recent charity event. I'm going to donate some of my dresses, too - and I hope you will do the same!
