Location: CCA has 2 campuses - One in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood, and one in Oakland.
Unique Fact: The CCA Fashion Design Program is one of only 15 programs in the country invited to be part of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), a nonprofit association whose membership consists of America's foremost fashion designers.
Facilities: On the San Francisco campus, the Boyce Fashion Design Studio includes facilities for cutting, draping, and sewing. Two fully equipped production labs have industrial machines, dress forms, cutting tables, and knitting machines. The program offers studio space for upper-division fashion students. Students also benefit from the facilities of the Textiles Program on the Oakland campus, including a dye lab and equipment for spinning, knitting, and weaving.
Notable Alumni: Two CCA fashion alumni, Amber Clisura ('06) and Hannah Gallagher ('06), were chosen out of hundreds of recent Bay Area graduates to show off their designs in the Emerging Stars runway show during San Francisco Fashion Week.
