A Fashion Marriage Made in Heaven

Guide Rating - rating
The highly anticipated collaboration between Dutch Designer-Duo Viktor & Rolf and Swedish-based retail giant, H&M, kicked off with a spectacular Wedding-themed Fashion Show on October 28th in Bel Air, CA.

Everyone from the Olsen Twins to Chloe Sevigny was at this star-studded event and they all looked great. Carmen Electra and Christina Milian even showed up in nearly identical outfits! Attendees were seated around the runway on white cast-iron tables and models walked through a 4-tier, 12 foot tall, actual wedding cake!

The collection is named ‘Struck by Love’ and was built around the idea of a fashion love story. The color palette was neutral with main colors being Black, Forest Green, Grey, Nude and Off-White. Splashes of brightness were brought by the occasional Raspberry Red piece.

Buttons, patches, pockets, prints and patterns shaped as hearts characterized the Women's part of the collection. The key look was Couture-inspired ruffled dresses, with beautiful draping and bows.

The lovely show was preceded by a traditional wedding cake-cutting ceremony. You can check out what’s left of these fun, sophisticated garments at your local H&M.
