Fashion stylist Colin Megaro works with the stars, so I was psyched to hear his take on what's cool for the coming clothing season. Colin is currently working on a reality show pilot on wallet-friendly fashion and has recently been dressing Hollywood cuties like Daren Kagasoff from The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Julie Benz of Dexter, so without further ado - here are Colin's tips for the Top 5 Guys' Fashion Trends of Fall 2009:

Raised by a style-conscious family in Massachusetts, Colin Megaro's interest and zeal for fashion began at a young age. Trend 1: Denim

Colin says: "From skinny to straight, boot to baggy, the denim selection this season is almost dizzying. This fall is all about finding the fit that works for you. We also see a resurgence of washed, tattered, and distressed styles that have been off everyone's radar for a while."
Trend 2: Graphic Tees

"What better way to tell the world what you are about than to put it on the front of your chest!" Colin says, adding: "Teens will pass over the corny words or catchphrases in favor of geometric designs and tattoo prints. Rock T's and pop icons will continue."
Trend 3: The Hoodie

"The hoodie has become the 'cold weather' T-Shirt," Megaro says, adding: "Pop colors, graphic prints, and mixed or unexpected fabrics are where it's at this season."
Trend 4: Vests

Colin says: "The vest trend continues to hold on. Most often paired with a T-Shirt, but also with a shirt and tie for dresser occasions - a la the Jonas Brothers."
Trend 5: Sneakers with Kick

"Unless you have been living under a rock you have noticed the exciting trends that have been going on with sneakers for teens," Megaro jokes, continuing "Boys will be looking for styles that reflect old school sensibilities, but still express their individual style."
