Diane von Furstenberg

After making her name known throughout the NYC club circuit and at Studio 54, Diane von Furstenberg landed on the fashion scene in 1972, and by 1976 had sold millions of her signature wrap dresses. She then sold her namesake company, but once again reemerged as a designer in 1997 when she re-launched her collection of wrap dresses. Today the DVF brand has expanded far beyond dresses to include sportswear, swimwear, accessories, cosmetics, luggage and even rugs! In addition to her role as a designer, Diane is also currently the President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
