Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney was born in 1972, and is the daughter of ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Linda. She graduated from London's Central St Martins College of Art & Design in 1995, and her school fashion show featured none other than Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss modeling her clothes. McCartney was appointed chief designer at Chloé in March 1997, and in 2001 started her own Stella McCartney label with backing from the Gucci Group. A strict vegetarian, Stella does not use leather or animal products in any of her designs, including her shoes.
