- If you are going to wear a flowing casual dress or skirt and have a little fluff around your midsection like most girls do, don't completely cast off the idea of "granny panties" aka full briefs. They are high cut, very comfortable, provide full coverage and smooth out your middle section. Try not to wear them with low-cut jeans, to avoid the embarrassment of revealing your waist-high panties when you bend over to tie your shoes.
- If you are going to wear tight pants or a skirt/dress that hugs your bottom, a thong or g-string is in order. If it cuts into your hip flesh, wear it one size bigger to eliminate unsightly bulging. Just don't wear your thong with a super-mini skirt, or else your cheeks are sure to be red when everyone sees your other ones!
- If you are going to wear formal attire, wear support undergarments aka "shapers". Its how classy mega-stars like Eva Longoria achieve that svelte, seamless look on the Red Carpet. One-pieces work especially well unless you are wearing something strapless.
- If you are going to be traveling, boy shorts made out of nylon mesh will be your perfect companion. They go with nearly everything, are lightweight and compact, can be washed in the sink and dry very quickly.
