I actually ran into runway diva Veronica Webb at QVC's FFANY Shoes on Sale gala, so I decided to ask her. "I love ankle boots," Veronica raved, adding "they really can make a little chiffon dress look tough and give it a new look. They're also great with leather leggings." Well, I'm not sure if I can wear leather leggings, but I do agree that booties will give extra mileage to summer's girlie dresses, especially with opaque tights. For those ladies who are afraid to try the full-on bootie trend, this is a great compromise. The plunging cut of the vamp visually elongates the leg, while the silver leather is completely eye-catching. My philosophy on metallic shoes is since they go with nothing, they match everything!
