I recently went to an event for the new 2011 Mazda2 (pictured, below), and although the car is really, really cool (a 1.5L engine with great fuel economy and seating for five at under $14K!), I was transfixed by the amazing 'Spirited Green' color. I'm a girl, I know.

That got me thinking: Wouldn't it be fun to match your nail polish to your car color? I started looking around for a lacquer to complement the Mazda2, and it was a bit of a toughie.
The new $8 'Pretty Edgy' by Essie (below) is close, but it's not quite yellow enough - and it doesn't have the same gleam as the vehicle.

The $3.99 'Go Go Green' by Maybelline is also similar, but I think it's a bit too yellow.

Finally, I found the $9 'Leaf Him at the Altar' from Sephora by OPI and I think it's a nice - if not quite perfect - match.

I think it'd be fantastic if car companies would actually release a selection of nail varnishes that exactly matched their automobiles. What do you think?
