Even if you can't afford the designer clothes on the runways of New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, you can still steal some ideas from the shows in terms of hair, makeup and nail polish. My favorite nail look from the Spring/Summer 2011 season was 'hands down' the art at Z Spoke by Zac Posen, courtesy of OPI.
The nails at the Z Spoke show consisted of intricate art with bright colors and designs that were created on tips first (who knew?), and then applied to the models. There were two distinct patterns - the first (pictured below) was a combination of the OPI colors 'Alpine Snow,' 'Chopsticking to My Story,' 'No Room for the Blues' and 'That's Hot Pink' that created a square pattern.
The second look was similar to a psychedelic cheetah print (below) and the OPI colors used were 'Alpine Snow,' 'The 'It' Color,' 'What's with the Cattitude,' 'Who the Shrek Are You?' and 'Black Onyx.'
